It has been said that if you want to learn the nuances of acting be an assistant of a good director. Whether take the example of Raj Kapur, or Ranbir Kapur, or Amir Khan, everyone of them was an assistant of a film director in their past and all became super stars later on and made their important places in Hindi cinema. And Manoj Pandey is one such Bhojpuri actor graduating from being an assistant director.
Manoj Pandey has assisted Shahrukh Mirza. Faruq Kabir, and Ashok Pandit and when he debuted with “Lahariya Luta Ae Rajaji” under the direction of Rajkumar Pandey he won the viewers’ admiration with his performances. The bumper success of the film made him the ‘Angry Young Man’ of Bhojpuri cinema. This success was later followed up with his performances in “Dushmani” and “Mai Nagin Tu Nagina”. Now his forthcoming films are about a dozen including “Chalbaz Chulbul Pandey” and “Kali”. Manoj Pandey is one of the busiest actor in Bhojpuri industry, nevertheless, he does not want to be the prisoner of any particular image and doesn’t like to repeat himself.
Now he is ready to show his jalwa in “Rajaji” which is going to release soon.
